What RCRA hazardous waste records mean for a property search

The Resource Conservation and Recovery Act program covers businesses that generate, transport, treat, store or dispose of hazardous waste. Generators are grouped by how much waste they produce, commonly called large, small and very small quantity generators.

What a listing does and does not show

A RCRA listing shows that a site is registered in that program. It does not by itself say a release happened.

Get the Environmental Records Search Report for an address

SiteRecord lists public EPA ECHO facility records near an address. It is not an environmental consultant, a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment, or a legal advisor. A listing is not a finding of contamination, and the absence of a listing is not a finding that a site is clean. Nobody reviews individual reports and no reply or support is offered.
